Donations of real goods such as artwork, real estate, etc. must be approved by the Denton Public Library Advisory Board. For more information, please contact Cynthia Carter at (940) 349-8754.
Denton Public Library welcomes donations of used materials such as books, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks. Once donated, items become the property of the Denton Public Library to be used as determined. The library will not accept items that are not an outright gift. Library staff make the determination in regards to the ultimate disposition of items.

The library does not accept donations of textbooks, encyclopedias, back issue magazines or abridged books. Donations are limited to 2 grocery bags or 2 boxes not to exceed 15x14x20, per day, per household. Materials donations are only accepted at North Branch Library, 3020 N. Locust St. during regular open hours.
The Special Collections department at the Emily Fowler Central Library accepts donations of
genealogy materials or print items of historical significance.
