Records transcribed by Vinita Davis of the Denton County Genealogical Society and represent 8000 probate county birth records, i.e. delayed birth records from 1870-1900. The records became available with the establishment of Social Security which required a recipient to prove age. Contact the Denton County Clerkâs office for copies.
